Uk Online Bingo

January 31st, 2009 by admin

In the UK bingo has long been a favorite with women of a certain age and with family groups on holiday in the UK. The British craze for bingo has even spread to the continent and thousands of Britain’s who holiday in Spain or Greece every year, also expect to play their favorite game of bingo.

While the bingo halls are still popular in some areas as women like to meet up with others of a similar age, play a few games, perhaps have a drink, and gossip to their hearts content. Online gambling news predicts that this form of recreation could soon become a problem as more people join online casinos and UK online bingo sites. Online casinos tend to attract a younger group but some of the bingo sites also offer the chance to play the casinos if they don’t fancy a game of bingo. Those gambling sites that have chat rooms tend to attract a younger group because these people enjoy the chance to interact with other players in the chat rooms. Whether online gambling news is correct in its assumption that there will soon be many more gamblers remains to be seen.

This season is now getting to a critical stage with only 7 races left.
Lewis Hamilton leads the table with 62 points and will be hoping to get back winning ways after a disappointing 5th place finish two weeks ago in Hungary. Nearest rival in the drivers’ championship is Fin Kimi Räikkönen with 57 points. The reigning champion has had a poor season by his standards and needs to return to his winning ways soon to keep up with Hamilton.

Super Casinos

From Land based casinos to online gambling casinos:

Land based casinos are fascinating places and great fun especially the city of Las Vegas is full of them. It’s the gambling capital of the world, full of extravagant over the top hotels and casinos and the town is full of some of the craziest people you will ever meet. It’s quite surreal at night driving down the strip. The wealth, glamour, randomness and sheer scale of everything is rather baffling to tourists. For me I found it difficult to understand how this place in the middle of the Nevada desert became one of the most famous cities on earth. So I did a bit of research on the history of the city….
A rail road was constructed through the area owned by a Montana Senator called William Clark in 1904. This rail road began the expansion of the area into a town full of Saloons and small shops.
Soon the town was growing at a phenomenal rate and the legalized gambling attracted hundreds of visitors. Casino began to crop up the first major one being named the El Rancho ranch. Several others casinos were built throughout the 1940’s, 50’s and 60s including the famous Tropicana casino and hotel. The expansion just keep on growing and the city was unaffected by the depression. Towards the end of the 1970’s gambling in Atlanta was legalized, forcing Vegas casino chiefs to think of new ways to attract tourists. Their plan was simple, to build bigger, bolder and better casinos. This was when the construction of the, mega hotel complexes began.
This growth has continued until today, and as I write several new casinos are being constructed in Vegas.
However in the last few years the growth of online casinos has hit the profits of Vegas casinos as people are beginning to play at home online. Websites offer special promotions, live dealers and a huge range of casino games. Exact date online gambling began is unknown but most would say it began around 1995. Much like the expansion of Las Vegas the online gambling industry has seen rapid growth.
UK online casinos are some of the best in the world and are used by thousands of user’s every day, however there are no land based super casinos on the scale of Vegas or Maucu in China.
